Dear Colleagues,
The International Machiavelli Society (I.M.S.) invites submissions for its second conference, to be held at the University of Chicago’s John W. Boyer Center, Paris, France, from December 11th to December 13th, 2025.
We welcome abstracts exploring all aspects of Machiavelli’s thought, sources, and legacy. Submissions may focus on historical, philosophical, political, or literary perspectives, among others.
Submission Guidelines:
• Proposals may be for individual presentations or full panels.
• Abstracts should not exceed 250 words.
• Individual presentations should be no longer than 20 minutes.
To submit, please complete the online proposal form at I.M.S. Proposal, Paris 2025 by March 1st, 2025.
Languages: Submissions are welcome in English, Italian, or French.

La International Machiavelli Society (I.M.S.) è lieta di sollecitare la presentazione di proposte per il suo secondo convegno, che si terrà presso il John W. Boyer Center dell’Università di Chicago, a Parigi, Francia, dal 11 al 13 dicembre 2025.
Saranno considerati abstract che esplorino tutti gli aspetti del pensiero, delle fonti e dell’eredità di Machiavelli. Le proposte possono focalizzarsi su prospettive storiche, filosofiche, politiche, letterarie o di altro genere.
Linee guida per la presentazione:
- Le proposte possono riguardare presentazioni individuali o interi panel.
- Gli abstract non devono superare le 250 parole.
- Le presentazioni individuali non devono superare i 20 minuti.
